At Bullitt Lick Baptist Church, we take church membership seriously. We believe that church membership is a covenant agreement to love, encourage, disciple, and discipline each other. To be considered for church membership, four steps must be completed:
1) You must give credible statement of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
2) You must be scripturally baptized. (link to our beliefs)
3) You must attend and complete Membership Matters Class.
4) You must have a meeting with the Elders of BLBC.
Membership Matters is designed to help you learn about Bullitt Lick Baptist Church…who we are, what we believe, and how we function as a church. It is also our way of helping you commit to a lifestyle of intentional discipleship.
Membership Matters classes meet at various times throughout the year. Participating in Membership Matters does not make you a member of Bullitt Lick Baptist Church, but to become a member you must attend Membership Matters.
Membership Matters classes will answer critical questions every believer should ask:
· What is the gospel?
· What is the Bible?
· What is the church and what’s expected of members?
· What is the Great Commission and what should be our response?
· How is BLBC organized and who are its affiliates?
Please let us know if you are interested in participating in the next Membership Matters class by emailing the office with your interest.
